Lost Love

As I stood, she spoke. Her words hit hard. And then I awoke. A moment caught off guard. It had been so many years. Since last, I had seen her. All the happiness -All the old fears. A peeling of flesh the shedding of fur. What we were all could see. In day and throughout the night. But what had become could never be. Darkness had overcome the fading of the light. At once, she was so much. Too many voices to contend. The turbulence became such. That the breaking should begin. Now here we meet. And time has slipped by. Is it hard for you to keep? Your locked feelings inside?

Goodbye.
