At Last

My Post (1) (1)

Slipping and stumbling
Attainment for your heart
I reach for the ledge
Only to be torn apart

Your eyes they do cling
To a mind’s memory
From there to now
I unaccompanied will be

You have the power to halt
All that has become
Yet this toiling away
So much the plenty—one is none

Ripped from solitude
By your hearts grasp
The sun has peaked
Left to sink at last
