My Post (3) (1)

Can you recall
The remembrance of fall
Crisp was the air
In echoes to spare

A colorful imagining
With death just starting
All around us in light
Cringing in fright

We walked in moonlight glare
A wandering pair
To a misunderstood place
Where the angels do grace

I laid down my rose
Never to decompose
As with love never dies
I slowly close my eyes
