my post (18)

I couldn’t
I wouldn’t
I shouldn’t
I didn’t

The words are easy
They are there to appease me
Wanting and wanted
They are there to please me

The air hurried by
In its mounting swirl
There by my side
The nameless girl

She laughed and smiled
With cold black eye
Her hair perfect yet wild
This she said is when you die

The fall was forever
The detachment short
Do I still love her?
A twisting of sort

She was now gone
No longer by my side
All I could hear was her song
The ground and I collide
